Collaboration Is Key: Women in Business Leading with a Black Wall Street Mindset
During Women's History Month, we take time to recognize the women whose leadership, vision, and determination are shaping businesses and strengthening communities across the country.

This month, we proudly highlight two dynamic leaders who embody the spirit of collaboration, entrepreneurship, and community impact: Angela K. Chambers and Veronica Harrison.

Together, they represent the power of a Black Wall Street mindset—a commitment to collaboration, economic empowerment, and uplifting Black-owned businesses.

A Shared Vision for Economic Empowerment
For generations, the legacy of Black Wall Street has symbolized resilience, innovation, and community-driven wealth building. Today, leaders like Dr. Angela K. Chambers and Veronica Harrison are continuing that legacy by creating platforms that support entrepreneurs, amplify business voices, and promote economic growth within the community.

Dr. Angela K. Chambers, founder of The Original Black Wall Street, has built a powerful media and business ecosystem designed to highlight entrepreneurs, celebrate Black excellence, and reconnect communities with the legacy of historic Greenwood Avenue in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Through radio, digital media, publications, and business platforms, her work focuses on giving entrepreneurs visibility and providing a place where business leaders can share their stories, promote their services, and build meaningful connections.

Dr. Chambers is the Chief Editor of  The Original Black Wall Street Magazine is a digital magazine featuring, highlighting and promoting Black-owned businesses, leaders and communities.

Elevating Black-Owned Businesses
Alongside this mission, Veronica Harrison is making a tremendous impact as the Chief Editor of the OKC Black Owned Business Guide Magazine.

Her leadership ensures that Black-owned businesses in Oklahoma City are seen, supported, and celebrated. The magazine highlights entrepreneurs, community leaders, and innovators who are contributing to economic development and creating opportunities within their communities.

Through storytelling, business features, and strategic promotion, Veronica Harrison continues to provide a valuable platform for entrepreneurs seeking exposure and growth.
Collaboration Is the Key

The message behind this collaboration is simple but powerful: we grow stronger together.

When leaders unite with a shared mission to uplift businesses and strengthen communities, they create opportunities that extend far beyond individual success. Collaboration helps entrepreneurs build networks, access resources, and share knowledge that leads to sustainable growth.

This Black Wall Street mindset reminds us that economic empowerment is not just about individual achievement—it is about building systems of support where businesses can thrive collectively.

Honoring Women Who Lead
As we celebrate Women’s History Month, we honor the women who are leading with purpose, building platforms for others, and investing in the success of their communities.
Dr. Angela K. Chambers and Veronica Harrison represent the kind of leadership that moves communities forward—leadership rooted in collaboration, innovation, and service.
